Football is one of the sports that is prioritised to be nurtured, so to improve and achieve the achievements, it would be nice if ever since children have received a sport education and football in particular correctly, regularly, and as directed. In a football game, it takes football playing techniques like dribbling, passing, stopping, throwing in, heading, tricks and turns, and shooting.The game requires a lot of energy and intelligence on the field, which stimulates enthusiasm while providing excitement through teamwork. In football, there are various basic techniques for playing the game. Basic techniques are fundamentals that must be mastered by all athletes in order to be able to play football skillfully based on multilateral movement skills.
BrainGym is an educational kinesiology system developed by Paul E. Dennison and Gail E. Dennison in the 1970s. These exercises help in learning to coordinate the hands, eye, foot, and whole body. The brain gym consists of 26 simple movements that function to enhance academic performance and whole-body learning.Plyometric training helps enhance the performance of football players; it includes a series of jumping, bounding, hops,skipping, pushups, running, kicking, and squatting exercises. The time duration is 30–40. minutes with a cool period. It involves the eccentric and concentric action of muscles, enhancing balance, and coordination (ABC) drills focus on a person’s ability to rapidly change speed and direction, perform movements precisely, and maintain control of body movement, which are essential for sports demanding quick direction changes in football.
Football is a dynamic sport that requires good eye-to-foot coordination. The eye-foot coordination influences the performance of the players. Eye-foot coordination is the ability of the performer to integrate types of body movement into specific patterns. The low level of eye-foot coordination of the athletes can influence the outcome of the exercise, and so it requires regular, earnest, and continuous practice in order to improve the playing skills of a football player. In other words, having good eye-foot coordination is a requirement for recording the maximum performance of the players in terms of football practice. The most important ones are the eye-foot coordination patterns of players, because the successful resolution of the situation in a football match is mainly performed by motoric activities. During the game, better chances are on the side of players who have these coordination factors in the optimal ratio. The main purpose of the research is to improve existing knowledge and education. This research is essential to understand which intervention may be more beneficial, brain gym exercises versus plyometric training, for enhancing these specific aspects of physical performance in football players, providing valuable insights for optimising training programmes and improving overall athletic performance in football players.
