All healthy patients of ASA PS 1 & 2 with age group 18-65 years (Either sex) and BMI < 30kg/m2 who are scheduled for upper extremity orthopedic surgery at or distal to the elbow, are in inclusion criteria.
Exclusion criteria -
1)ASA physical status > Grade III
2)Age < 18 or >65 years
3)BMI > 30 kg/m2
4)Patientâ??s refusal
5)Allergic to local anaesthetics
6)Local infection at or near the needle insertion site
7)Coagulopathy or medical anticoagulation
8)Traumatic nerve injury in the upper extremity or neck
9)Preexisting neuro deficits in the distribution of the block
10)Previous surgery or condition in the neck that may distort brachial plexus anatomy
