Inclusion Criteria

1)Symptomatic Apical periodontitis in primary molars

2) Children who are rated as positive and according to the Frankl Behaviour Rating Scale (1962)

Exclusion Criteria

1)Primary molars with grossly decayed crown structure

2)Children who have taken analgesics/anti-inflammatory drugs within the last 24 hours

3)Children with a history of allergy to any component of the local anaesthetic

solution/medicament.

4)Teeth with internal root resorption
