Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.All subjects willing to participate in the study.
- •2\.The subjects must have atleast 20 teeth in case of chronic periodontits with probing depth of \>\= 5mm, clinical attachment level \>\= 3mm, and radiographic evidence of alveolar bone loss on at least 2 teeth per quadrant excluding the third molars.
- •3\.All the patients should be systemically healthy and should not have received periodontal treatment for at least 6 months prior to the clinical examination and sampling.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Smokers and alcoholic patients.
- •2\.Pregnant and lactating mothers.
- •3\.Subjects on any medication taken within the last 6 months which may alter the periodontal status.
