- •having at least 3 teeth in all the quadrants
- •diagnosis of advanced chronic periodontitis
- •no systemic diseases or other systemic medication that could influence the outcome of periodontal therapy
- •no periodontal treatment in the last 12 months
- •no systemic antibiotic intake in the last 6 months
- •no pregnancy, menopause or breastfeeding
- •no removable dental prosthesis.
