Inclusion Criteria

• Consecutive series of patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD).
• Given informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

• Inability to perform pancreatogastrostomy.
• Resection of other organs, except the superior mesenteric-portal vein.
• Previous gastric surgery.
• Preoperative gastric or duodenal obstruction.
• Previous complex abdominal surgery.
