Inclusion Criteria
- Consecutive series of patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD).
- Given informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- Inability to perform pancreatogastrostomy.
- Resection of other organs, except the superior mesenteric-portal vein.
- Previous gastric surgery.
- Preoperative gastric or duodenal obstruction.
- Previous complex abdominal surgery.
