入选标准
- •1.Patients of all age group with peripheral lymphadenopathy clinically suspected to be of tubercular origin at any superficial body site ( >2cms) not relieved by 2 weeks of antibiotic treatment as per RNTCP protocol.
- •2.The fine-needle aspirated samples were collected from both outdoor and indoor patients.
- •3.Clinical symptoms suggestive of tuberculosis include fever, cough, anorexia or weight loss and lymphadenopathy.
- •4.Patients not having any symptoms of tuberculosis yet persistent lymphadenopathy.
- •5.For paediatric population national tuberculosis guidelines were followed.
排除标准
- •1.Previously diagnosed Cases of Tuberculosis and cases already getting Anti Tubercular Treatment
- •2.Patient unwilling for FNAC and participation in the study.
- •3.History of known malignancy on cellular or biopsy evidence/Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection by serological examination
