Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The following patients will be included in the study:
- •Age group of 18\-70 years
- •ASA physical status I\-III
- •Weight between 40\-90 Kgs
- •Those scheduled for elective major gastrointestinal surgical procedures needing tracheal intubation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •The patients with a negative Allen test, ulnar artery occlusion, prevalent atherosclerosis, hemorrhagic shock, morbid obesity, Raynaud disease, peripheral vascular disease and coagulation disorders will be excluded from the study.
