1. Age between 20 and 65 years
2. ASA physical status I, II.
3. Elective lower limb and lower abdominal surgeries under spinal anaesthesia.
1. Age < 20 years and > 65 years
2. Pregnancy
3. History of known allergy to acetaminophen.
4. BMI > 24.9
5. Liver dysfunction (AST > 35IU, ALT > 35IU)
6. Body temperature > 38 C or < 36 C
7. History of alcohol abuse.
8. Laparoscopic/Arthroscopic surgeries
9. Patients receiving intra operative blood transfusion.
10. Contraindication to spinal anaesthesia.
11. Height > 150 cms <170cms
12. Surgeries of duration > 2 hours

Name Time Method Intra operative and post operative shivering scores.Timepoint: after spinal anaesthesia and <br/ ><br>every 30 minutes until the end of the procedure <br/ ><br>Every hour post op upto 6 hours
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Intra operative and post operative body temperature changes.Timepoint: Just before spinal anaesthesia, and every 15 minutes intraoperatively immediately and every hour upto 6 hours
