Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1. Age between 20 and 65 years
  • 2. ASA physical status I, II.
  • 3. Elective lower limb and lower abdominal surgeries under spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1. Age < 20 years and > 65 years
  • 2. Pregnancy
  • 3. History of known allergy to acetaminophen.
  • 4. BMI > 24.9
  • 5. Liver dysfunction (AST > 35IU, ALT > 35IU)
  • 6. Body temperature > 38 C or < 36 C
  • 7. History of alcohol abuse.
  • 8. Laparoscopic/Arthroscopic surgeries
  • 9. Patients receiving intra operative blood transfusion.
  • 10. Contraindication to spinal anaesthesia.
  • 11. Height > 150 cms <170cms
  • 12. Surgeries of duration > 2 hours
