Inclusion Criteria
1. Presence of minimum 24 functional teeth
2. Patients with moderate to severe form of chronic generalized gingivitis.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Advanced periodontal diseases and caries.
2. Any prescribed antibiotic therapy coverage for the last 6 months
3. Systemic diseases

Name Time Method The Primary outcome will be the reduction in plaque index, gingival index, bleeding on probing which will reflect the antimicrobial effect of the experimental dentifrices.Timepoint: 6,12,24 weeks
