Objective
To evaluate the efficacy of Trunapanchmuladi Ghrita combined with Gokshura Churna versus Gokshura Churna alone in treating Mootrashmari (urinary stones).
Study Design
Open, randomized controlled clinical trial
Duration 28 days
Sample size: 64 participants 32 per group
Participants:
Adults aged 18–60 with non-obstructive ureteric calculi (4–7 mm)
Exclusions include systemic illnesses, pregnancy, and congenital kidney anomalies
Interventions:
Group A: Trunapanchmuladi Ghrita + Gokshura Churna
Group B: Gokshura Churna alone
Both groups advised pathya-apathya and hydration
Assessment Parameters:
Subjective: Pain, burning micturition, hematuria
Objective: Size, site, and number of stones via USG
Statistical analysis: Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Unpaired t-test
Rationale:
Ayurveda offers promising and cost-effective alternatives to conventional treatments for kidney stones, which often recur after modern interventions.
Expected Outcome:
To determine whether the add-on therapy provides statistically and clinically significant improvement in symptom relief and stone reduction.

- Size of calculus-A known diagnosed case of Non obstructive ureteric calculus 4 to 7 mm.
- Age group -18 to 60 years with irrespective of gender.
- Participants who are suffering from severe systemic disorders like renal failure, Carcinoma Known case of DM, HTN, Asthma, HIV, HbsAg 2.Congenital anomalies of kidney.

Name Time Method Efficacy of Trunapanchmuladi ghrita with Gokshura churna in managing Mootrashmari, assessed by reduction in symptom severity scores and overall treatment response. 1st follow up after 7 days and then 14 days and 28 days
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. Reduction in Calculus Size and Expulsion: Change in size of urinary calculi (measured via imaging techniques like ultrasound or CT).
