Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • ASA grade I / II
  • Age 18\-60 years of either sex
  • Patients for elective surgery with indication for nasotracheal intubation
  • Patients with adequate mouth opening of 2 fingers or more

Exclusion Criteria

  • Modified Mallampatti class III or IV
  • Bleeding disorder
  • Patient with non patent nasal cavity
  • Any history of nasal trauma and surgery
  • Cervical spine instability
  • Base of skull fracture
  • Risk of gastric aspiration
