Inclusion Criteria
Only those patients with ASA physical status 1 or 2 patients undergoing elective Caesarean
Section under spinal anaesthesia will be included in this study.
Exclusion Criteria
Those patients with characteristics and health conditions below will be excluded from the study.
• ASA physical status 3 and 4
• Surgeries taking more than 2 hours duration
• History of chronic pain
• Regular medication with analgesics
• Psychiatric disorder

Name Time Method 1. To compare and evaluate Pain Score at 6, 12 and 24 hours post operatively <br/ ><br>2. To compare total analgesic requirement in the first 24 hours <br/ ><br>3.Screening of postpartum blues in the postpartum period of Day 1 and Day 7 as per <br/ ><br>Edinburgh Postnatal depression Scale between the ketamine group and placebo groups. <br/ ><br>4. To compare incidence of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting in the first 24 hours. <br/ ><br>5. To compare patient comfort and satisfaction at 24 hours of surgeryTimepoint: 1.
