Inclusion Criteria

1. Phase 1 (Descriptive study)

Eligibility criteria

1.1 English medium schools of Udupi taluk.

1.2 Participants of either gender.

1.3 Participants able to speak and write in English.

1.4 Authorized persons who can take decisions of school/persons found eligible by the principal.

2. Phase-2 (Cluster RCT)

Eligibility criteria for schools

2.1 Selected English medium schools of Udupi taluk (within an approachable radius from the study centre).

2.2 Schools with a minimum of 100 students studying in 7th, 8th and 9th std.

Eligibility criteria for participants

2.3 Participants studying in 7th, 8th and 9th std.

2.4 Parents (both)/ guardian of each student.

2.5 Teachers of 7th, 8th and 9th standard.

2.6 School administrators of selected schools.

2.7 Participants of either gender.

2.8 Participants able to speak and write in English.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Phase-1

1.1 Authorized personnel/principal of the school who is not willing to participate.

2. Phase-2

2.1 Schools which are not giving consent.

Bullying perpetrataion and victimisation measured by Revised Olweus Bully/victim Questionnaire (R-OBVQ) and Child Adolescent Bullying scale (CABS).Timepoint: Baseline, 6 months and 1 year.
Secondary Outcome Measures

Bullying attitude, Bystander Intervention, positive and negative psychological attributes by Strength and Difficulty Questionnaire, School climate, Knowledge about bullying, attendance, academic marks, Information from buddy box.The outcomes may be changed/modified after Phase 1.Timepoint: Baseline, 6 months and 1 year.
