Study Overview

Brief Summary

This study is designed to assess the siddha diagnostic procedures especially Neerkuri and Neikuri

(Urine analysis in Siddha system of medicine) in patients of "Vali iya noi".

Assessment of other diagnostic methods such as Naadi Nadai (Siddha Pulse diagnostic method)

and Manikkadai Nool is also done

Inclusion Criteria

  • Elevated S.Urea Elevated S.Creatinine Albuminuria Glucosuria Forthy urine Decreased urine output.

Exclusion Criteria

  • atients undergoing Hemodialysis Patients with partial or complete Nephrectomy Renal carcinoma.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

Cost effective diagnosis

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Non- invasive method of diagnosis

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Siddha diagnosis specially Neerkuri and Neikuri may be used to confirm VALI IYA NOI .

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Naadi and Manikkadai nool may be considered for the diagnosis of VALI IYA NOI

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Making treatment easy by framing prompt diagnosis

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Secondary Outcomes

  • To assess the Manikkadai nool(Siddha thread(diagnostic tool) along with Neerkuri(Siddha Urine)
