Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Diagnosis of Periodontitis. (A new classification scheme for periodontal and peri\- implant
  • •diseases and conditions – introduction and key changes from the 1999 classification).6
  • •2\. Subjects aged 25 – 55 years.
  • •3\. Subjects with periodontal pockets having probing depth of greater than or equalto 5mm.
  • •4\. Subjects having Intrabony defects of greater than of equal to 3mm deep.
  • •5\. Good oral hygiene maintainence (PI score 0\.1 – 0\.9\) after etiological periodontal therapy.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Subjects with systemic diseases.
  • •2\. Subjects on anticoagulant therapy.
  • •3\. Subjects with habit of smoking and alcohol.
  • •4\. Subjects with known history of allergy to graft materials.
  • •5\. Subjects who have not undergone periodontal surgery within 12 months for the same defects.
  • •6\. Pregnant and lactating females.
  • •7\. Subjects on antibiotics for past 3 months.
  • •8\. Mobility of teeth greater than Grade I.
