•1. Diagnosis of Periodontitis. (A new classification scheme for periodontal and peri- implant
•diseases and conditions – introduction and key changes from the 1999 classification).6
•2. Subjects aged 25 – 55 years.
•3. Subjects with periodontal pockets having probing depth of greater than or equalto 5mm.
•4. Subjects having Intrabony defects of greater than of equal to 3mm deep.
•5. Good oral hygiene maintainence (PI score 0.1 – 0.9) after etiological periodontal therapy.

•1. Subjects with systemic diseases.
•2. Subjects on anticoagulant therapy.
•3. Subjects with habit of smoking and alcohol.
•4. Subjects with known history of allergy to graft materials.
•5. Subjects who have not undergone periodontal surgery within 12 months for the same defects.
•6. Pregnant and lactating females.
•7. Subjects on antibiotics for past 3 months.
•8. Mobility of teeth greater than Grade I.
