Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Subjects presenting with chest pain at the cardiology department are being diagnosed as a case of Non-cardiac chest pain by the physician or a cardiologist.
- •2. Both Males and Females are included.
- •3. Age group- All adults above the age of 18yrs.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. A increase and decrease pattern for Cardiac troponin I and Cardiac troponin C values with at least one value above the 99th % of upper reference indicating myocardial injury.
- •2. Acute myocardial infarct indicated by the presence of acute lesions of the myocardium with clinical evidence of acute ischaemia of the myocardium and with detection of elevation and decrease of cardiac troponin values with at least one value above the 99% upper reference limit of at least 1 of the sequence:
- •oSymptoms of cardiac ischaemia.
- •oNew ischaemic ECG changes- New ST-elevation at the J-point in 2 contiguous leads other than leads V2 and V3 where the next cut off points apply: >= 2mm in men >=40 years, >=2.5mm in 2 contiguous leads with prominent R waves or R/S ratio >1.
- •oNew >= 0.5mm horizontal or descending ST-depression in 2 adjacent spikes and T-wave inversion > 1mm in 2 contiguous leads with prominent R waves or R/S ratio >1.
- •oPathological Q- wave development on the ECG.
- •oEchocardiogram pattern showing new loss of viable myocardium or new regional wall motion anomaly, with Aetiology consisting of the ischaemic pattern.
- •oIdentification of a coronary thrombus by angiography and autopsy22.
- •3. History of trauma to the thorax.
- •4. Patients diagnosed with Alzheimerâ??s and dementia.
