Inclusion Criteria

1. Children with mild intellectual disability as specified by the DSM -5 classification given by the American Psychiatric Association.

2. Children with Intelligence Quotient in the range of 55-69.

3. Children whose parents/guardians have given the consent.

4. Minimum one carious tooth (under ICDAS score 3-6) requiring atraumatic restorative treatment.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Children with moderate, severe, profound and unspecified intellectual disability as specified by DSM ââ?¬â?? 5 classification given by American Psychiatric Association.

2. Children with Intelligence Quotient below 55.

3. Children under anti-anxiety medication.

4. Children with hearing ,visual impairment and history of seizures.

5. Medically compromised children.

6. Teeth with a long standing history of pain, showing pulp exposure, abscess or fistula.

7. Teeth under ICDAS scores 0-2.
