Inclusion Criteria

Included in the study were patients with ages ranging from 18 to 60 years; of age who were literate and in possession of the mental faculties; and who wanted to participate in the study; diagnosed with indication for bilateral third molar extraction; asymptomatic and in similar surgical positions and difficulties; analyzed through panoramic radiographs

Exclusion Criteria

Patients younger than 18 years of age; classified as ASA III or IV; history of drug use for pain or anxiety within 15 days prior to initiation of the survey; history of hypersensitivity to drugs, substances or materials used in this experiment; pregnancy or lactation or with prior history of pericoronitis

Primary Outcome Measures

To comparatively evaluate the effects of Electroacupuncture with Midazolam, in<br>bilateral third molar extractions. The assessment of the degree of anxiety of the subjects in the sample will be done through questionnaires and physical parameters, with equivalence between treatments being expected.
