Hospitalized in intensive care unit due to COVID-19; age 18 years or higher; referred to rehabilitation; previously independent in activities of daily living; have to meet the safety criteria defined by the Portuguese Society of Physical Rehabilitation Medicine.
Don’t meet the safety criteria; prior muscle weakness; prior pulmonary diseases; acute thrombosis, contraindications to cycling; patients with a diagnosis on admission that excludes the possibility of walking at hospital discharge.

Name Time Method Improvement in functional capacity, using the 6-Minute Walk Test as primary outcome measure, from the finding of a statistically significant difference (p> 0.05) between the people in the control group and the intervention group.
