Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age 18\-65 years of age of either gender
- •2\. Either normotensive or controlled hypertensive patients
- •3\. Posted for neurosurgical procedure for any intracranial pathology
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients or nearest kin who will refuse to give consent for participation in the study
- •2\. Patients with known/documented ischaemic heart disease, congestive cardiac failure, cardiomyopathy prior to ictus
- •3\. Uncontrolled hypertension if blood pressure \>160/90 mm Hg
- •4\. Body mass index \>35
- •5\. Anticipated difficult airway
- •6\. Pregnancy
