1.Age between 18 to 55
2.All ASA 1 and 2 patients undergoing minor surgeries
3.BMI between 18 to 30
4.Surgical Procedures lasting between 90 minutes and 300 minutes.
1.Patient refusal
2.ASA More than 3 patients
3.BMI less than 18 and BMI more than 30
4.Emergency surgeries
5.Hyperthyroid Patients
6.Patients on Beta Blockers
7.Diabetic patients with HBA1C more than 7 and on treatment for Diabetes with insulin
8.Surgical Procedures lasting less than 90 minutes and more than 300 minutes.
9.Surgeries involving bowel preparation.
10.Patients who are unable to take oral diet.
11.Patients with gastric motility disorders.
12.Pregnant and Lactating mothers
