Inclusion Criteria
Patients of 18â??70 years with the ASA Class Iâ??IV underwent elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia with direct laryngoscopy (Macintosh blade) and endotracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria
1.Head and neck anatomical pathology
2.Small mouth opening < 3.0cm
3.Limitation in head and neck flexion or extension
4.Previous history of failed and difficult intubation
Pregnancy and a body mass index (BMI) of >39.9 kg/m2
