Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Closed simple displaced olecranon fracture (Mayo classification type IIA)
  • 2\. Age 18 \- 75 years old
  • 3\. No neurovascular injury
  • 4\. The time of injury within 2 weeks

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Open fracture of olecranon
  • 2\. Pathological fracture
  • 3\. Polytrauma with other associated fracture
  • 4\. Presence of open physis
  • 5\. Previous fracture or surgery at ipsilateral elbow
  • 6\. Patients with communicating problem such as cognitive impairment
  • 7\. Involuntary participate in research
