Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Among patients undergoing thoracic surgery, those who consented to pain management
- •Age: 19 to 80 years old
- •American Society of Anesthesiologist Physical Condition Classification Grades 1 to 4
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with cognitive decline, which makes it difficult to obtain information and the effect of nerve block related to the study
- •Patients with contraindications to nerve block (INR \> 1\.3, PTT \> 43 seconds without anticoagulant administration, coagulopathy, antiplatelet medication within 48 hours,
- •dual antiplatelet therapy, treatment site infection, patient refusal of treatment, local anesthetic allergic reaction)
- •Patients requiring anticoagulant therapy after surgery
- •Pregnant woman
- •Comorbidity: Any concomitant disease (sepsis, anatomical thoracic deformity, empyema, elevated intracranial pressure, etc.) for which the patient should be excluded from the study under the judgment of the anesthesiologist
