Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •all adult patients from 18\-60 years of age undergoing elective neurosurgical procedures and requiring postoperative mechanical ventilation will be included in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •refusal to consent, pregnancy, ASA 3 and above, chromic smoker and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emergency neurosurgery, preoperative evidence of difficult airway
