- Pneumothorax (primary, secondary, pulmonary surgery)
Exclusion Criteria
• Pleural effusion as primary indication for chest tube placement.
• Empyema
• Suspected chest tube malfunction (e.g., leaking, occlusion, malposition)
• Intubated during chest tube removal
