Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •babies satisfying all the three criteria will be selected :
  • •a. Term live born neonates
  • •b. Presence of meconium stained amniotic fluid
  • •c. Non vigorous at birth defined as by one of the following:
  • •1\) Heart rate \<100/min,
  • •2\) Decreased muscle tone,
  • •3\) Not breathing or crying

Exclusion Criteria

  • •a. Extramural neonates
  • •b. Major congenital anomalies
