Inclusion Criteria
) patients aged between 20 and 60 years old
both sexes
ASA class I or II
undergoing elective abdominal and lower limb surgery under spinal anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
Patients on opioid therapy, central nervous system depressants, or with physical dependence on opioids,
hepatic or renal disease, pregnancy or lactation, diabetes mellitus ,and/or bleeding disorder are not included.
We also excluded patients refusing or having a contraindication for neuraxial blocks
, established respiratory depression;
a history of hypersensitivity to one of the drugs and/or not willing to participate in the study.
