Exclusion Criteria
History of atonic postpartum haemorrhage
Uterine fibroids
Grand multiparity
Previous caesarean section
Multiple gestations
Placenta praevia
Use of anticoagulants or tocolytics
Chorioamnionitis
Any known uterine malformation
History of coagulopathy.
