Patients over the age of 18 years; both gendres; without impairment of general health according to medical history and physical examination; patients with indication of placement of dental implants in the region of bilateral mandibular molars selected through clinical and radiographic examination
Patients classified as American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) III or American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) IV; use of anti-inflammatory drugs within 15 days prior to surgery; submitted to antibiotic therapy in the last 2 months; patients with tuberculosis, leukocytosis, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, HIV infection, and other autoimmune diseases; pregnant and lactating women; patients with cognitive disorders that make it impossible to understand and execute commands; withdrawal of consent
