- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The amount of increase in the thickness of the alveolar ridge. Timepoint: Measurement of alveolar ridge thickness at the beginning of the study before the intervention and 4 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Caliper with an accuracy of one tenth of a millimeter.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Percentage of viable bone to total graft volume in the reconstructed area. Timepoint: 4 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Observations under light microscope to examine the percentage of newly-formed bone.
