Inclusion Criteria
All open, thoracolumbar spondylodesis over 1-4 heights/segments.
- Attained 18 years of age
- Consent to the study
Exclusion Criteria
- Spondylodiscitis (also intra- or postoperative diagnosis)
- Operations due to tumors, metastases
- Intraoperative cerebrospinal fluid leak
- Polytrauma, instatbil fractures (AO type C)
- Pregnancy
- Coagulation disorders
- Lack of capacity to inform / persons under care
- Underage patients
- Lack of possibility of follow-up after 3 months
