Inclusion Criteria

Patients between the age group of 18 to 60 years with classical signs and symptoms of Sthaulya. Patients having BMI (Body Mass Index) greater than and equal to 25 and less than and equal to 35 will be taken for the study. Virechana Yogya and Snehana Yogya as per Ayurvedic Classics will be included.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients having age less than 18 and greater than 60 will be excluded.

Known case of serious Cardiac, Renal or Hepatic diseases, AIDS, STD, TB, uncontrolled DM, Hypertension. Obesity due to drugs e.g.,Anticonvulsant, Antipsychotics, Beta-blockers, long term use of steroids. Pregnant and lactating women.

BMI less than 25 and greater than 35 will be excluded.

Virechana Ayogya and Snehana Ayogya patients as per Ayurvedic Classics will be excluded.
