简要总结
(i) to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training in enhancing the wellbeing of both parents and behaviors of their adolescents with SEN(s); (ii) to assess the feasibility and acceptability of adopting a nine-session Mindful Parenting program among parents of adolescents with SEN(s); (iii) to formulate useful suggestions and guidelines on mindfulness training for parents of adolescents with SEN(s).

入选标准
- •The inclusion criteria are 1) parents of at least one adolescent child with one of the nine types of special educational needs as defined by Education Bureau, 2) parents who are one of the major caregivers taking care of the adolescent for at least one year, 3) parents can understand and speak Cantonese, and 4) parents are able to provide informed consent.
排除标准
- •The exclusion criteria are 1) parents who have a history of severe mental illness (i.e., schizophrenia-spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder), substance abuse, developmental disabilities; 2) parents who are currently with active psychotic symptoms, high suicidal risks, or experiencing a recent personal crisis (e.g., experiencing a severely traumatic event, bereavement, etc.)
