In conclusion, this randomized trial in simultaneous bilateral total knee arthroplasty with or without patellar resurfacing was no statistic significant KOOS in post-operative outcome. 80% of patient was satisfaction both knees.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • inclusion criteria consisted simultaneous bilateral osteoarthritis knees with fail conservative treatment and varus and valgus alignment not more than 5 degree different, age more than 55\-year\-old and able to give informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • The exclusion criteria consisted patellar thickness than 22 mm before bone cut or than 12 mm after bone cut, inflammatory arthritis, severe patellofemoral arthritis, not well cooperated patient, infection, pathological fracture, previous knee surgery, severe varus and valgus OA knee, drug abuse and deny inform consent.
