Inclusion Criteria
200 consecutive pregnant women attending antenatal clinic of at Queen Mary Hospital in CSMMU (former KGMC) will be enrolled into the study after taking informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients already on calcium or on vitamine D supplementation, on anticonvulsants, on antitubercular treatment or having any medical condition affecting calcium and vitamin D metabolism (eg. renal or liver disease) will be excluded.
