入选标准
- •Patients presenting to the in-patient and out-patient department of dermatology, SRM medical college hospital, Potheri
- •With chronic plaque type psoriasis diagnosed clinically &histopathologically (wherever necessary) by a dermatologist
- •Having PASI score > 12
- •Patients who are statin naïve
排除标准
- •acute or chronic liver disease
- •family history of hereditary muscular disorders (assessed by history, clinical examination, raised serum alanine aminotransferase and creatinine phophokinase thrice the upper limit)
- •uncontrolled hypertension
- •with known allergy to any of the treatment
- •patients taking any drug that might interact with statins
- •already taking statins
- •impaired renal function or creatinine >2.0 mg/dl
- •active infection or WBC > 10,000/cmm
- •pregnant and lactating females
- •females and males who did not complete their family
