入选标准
- •Subjects will have impaired glucose tolerance.
- •They should be aged 18-70 years.
- •Body mass index should be >25.
- •They should be otherwise fit and well.
- •They may have hypertension controlled <140/90 mmHg on one anti-hypertensive agent which will be omitted on the day of the study.
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no

排除标准
- •Blood pressure >140/90 mmHg or requiring more than one anti-hypertensive agent to be controlled <140/90 mmHg.
- •History of ischaemic heart disease or cerebrovascular disease.
- •Cardiac failure.
- •Renal failure (GFR <30 ml/min).
- •Liver impairment (ALT> x2 normal).
- •Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
