1. No evidence of substantial abnormalities in
neurological, psychiatric, and any systemic
diseases.
2. Children between 7-10 years of age, with
fully erupted sound first permanent
mandibular molars requiring pit and fissure
sealant application.
3. DMFT Score 1 or more
4. Frankl Score 3 or 4 (Satisfactory Co-
operation)
5. OHI-S <= 3
1. Patients with history of any medical disease
or long-term medication
2. Patients with history of abnormal
parafunctional activity
3. Under fluoride application regimen
4. Restorations on first permanent molars
5. History of allergies to resins were also
excluded from the study
