Individuals aged 18 years and above
Individuals undergoing inpatient care at YMCH
Individuals who refuse to participate
People who are severely mentally disturbed, which includes people who expresses suicidal intent would be dropped from the study (referral to psychiatrist support would be made)
Persons who initially expresses willingness and later withdraws to participate in the study would be excluded from the study
Individuals who are moved to intensive care unit would be excluded due to deterioration in their health condition.
Discontinuation criteria:
Participants refusal to continue with the study

Name Time Method Tele counselling will improve the mental health of the individualsTimepoint: Baseline and at the time of discharge which is likely to be 2 weeks
- Secondary Outcome Measures
