Inclusion Criteria
Patients posted for elective hip surgery under spinal anaesthesia but unable to sit due to pain.
ASA physical status of 1,2,3 of American society of Anaesthesiologists.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who could sit comfortably.
Patients with history of local anaesthetic allergy.
Patients not willing to participate.
Patients on other analgesics upto 8hours before surgery.
Coaggulopathy.
infection at site of block.
Pregnancy.
