- The parameters to be assessed is the influence of Fathers on children feeding practices and eating behaviour aged 3 to 5 years in Mumbai belonging to different socio-economic groups.

This research proposal, titled "Impact of Fathers role in child’s feeding practices and eating behaviour in different Metropolitan Citiy of India," aims to **assess the influence of fathers on children aged 3 to 5 years in Mumbai.**The hypothesis is that fathers do not play a role in child’s feeding practices and eating behaviours. The study will involve 120 fathers in Mumbai, using quantitative questionnaires like the Child Feeding Questionnaire (CFQ) and Child Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ), alongside qualitative interviews. The expected outcome is that fathers may play a crucial role in promoting healthy dietary and physical activity behaviour in their children, supporting their inclusion in relevant interventions.

Inclusion Criteria
- •Urban Families Fathers with children 3 to 5 years, both males and females If 2 children of the same age group study on 1st born will be conducted Consent to participate.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Non-Metropolitan Households Fathers unavailability Families with children requiring specialized dietary needs ( e.g; due to specialized condition).
Outcomes
Primary Outcomes

Time Frame: Till December 2025, At the time of data collection
Secondary Outcomes
- 1 To examine the association between children eating behaviours and feeding practices through child feeding questionnaire.
