- •Patients in the age group of 40 to 80 years, of either gender, with body mass index <35kg/m2, diabetic (at least 10 yearsâ?? duration) or non-diabetic, belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status class I to III, undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia will be included in the study.
排除标准
- •Pregnant patients,those with history of upper gastrointestinal morbidity or upper abdominal surgery and patients with liver and kidney disease will be excluded from the study.
