Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with history of more than 8yrs diabetes scheduled for elective surgery.
  • •2\.American Society of Anaesthesiology physical status classification I and II patients.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Pregnant patients.
  • •2\.Patients with upper gastrointestinal obstructive disease.
  • •3\.Non\-diabetic neurological diseases.
  • •4\.Gastro esophageal reflux disesase.
  • •5\.Previous gastro intestinal surgery.
  • •6\.Chronic kidney diseases.
  • •7\.Recent abdominal trauma.
  • •8\.BMI \>30kg/m2
