Inclusion Criteria
1.Patient willing to give informed consent posted for elective surgery
ASA grade 1 -3
2.BMI <35kg/cm2.
3.Patients adhered to fasting guidelines
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients undergoing emergency surgeries
2. Patients with CKD
3. GERD
4. Hypothyroidism/Hyperthyroidism
5. Connective tissue disorder
6. Previous esophageal or abdominal surgeries
7. Patients on antidepressant drugs
8. Parturients
9. Patients with nasogastric tube insitu
