- age younger than 65 years old
- debilitating osteoarthritis and indicated for knee arthroplasty, but not yet operated
- participating in a (paid of voluntary) job or working as an informal caregiver (household, babysitting, etc.)
- able to perform usual rehabilitation care
- cognitive or mental restrictions
- not adequately understanding or writing the Dutch language
- any disabling condition other than their debilitating knee osteoarthritis, which restricts patients from performing their activities (like deconditioning pulmonal or cardial diseases, systemic inflammatory diseases or preexisting arthroplasty in hip(s) or other knee)

Name Time Method <p>Primary outcome measure is Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) satisfaction of<br /><br>activities before surgery and at three, six and 12 months after surgery.</p><br>
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method <p>Secondary outcome measures concerning activities are: activity monitoring,<br /><br>SQUASH and WORQ. Outcome measures concerning satisfaction: VAS satisfaction,<br /><br>VAS activities of daily life, work and leisure time, VAS work capacity and NPS.<br /><br>Also functional overall knee scores, KOOS and OKS-APQ, will be measured before<br /><br>surgery and during follow-up, at three, six and 12 months after surgery.</p><br>
