简要总结
This study is a split-mouth randomized controlled trial comparing conventional open flap debridement and microsurgical open flap debridement in patients with chronic periodontitis and horizontal bone loss. Sixteen patients (32 sites) will undergo both techniques in different quadrants. Clinical, radiographic, and patient-centered parameters such as probing pocket depth, relative attachment level, gingival and plaque indices, wound healing, pain perception, and patient satisfaction score will be evaluated up to 6 months. The study aims to determine whether microsurgical flap surgery provides superior healing and patient comfort compared to the conventional approach.
