Inclusion Criteria
All new consecutive obstetric patients admitted to the ICU for any medical or surgical causes directly or indirectly related to pregnancy, with an anticipated duration of stay of >24 hours and requiring urinary bladder catheterization will be prospectively enrolled.
Exclusion Criteria
Those with any contraindications for intravesical pressure measurement (pelvic fracture, hematuria, bladder surgery etc.) will be excluded from the study.

Name Time Method Percentage of critically ill obstetric patients who develop Intraabdominal hypertensionTimepoint: The intraabdominal pressure will be recorded everyday till patient is in ICU.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. Relation of known risk factors for development of intraabdominal hypertension. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Presence or absence of pre-existing as well as newly developed risk factors will be seen daily for entire ICU stay.
